Luanda - The Provincial Government of Luanda (GPL) commended the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) on the effort they make to restore the public order and tranquility, particularly in rural communities, and the protection of land reserves and state housing projects.
In a note of congratulations for the 24th anniversary of FAA, marked 9 October this year, provincial government teamed up to celebrations in order to express its gratitude for the firmness and readiness that the Armed Forces have been defending the independence, peace and national unity.
The GPL encourages, therefore, FAA to continue steadfast in fulfilling their missions of ensuring the preservation of democratic institutions and freedom of Angolans.
"So, on my own behalf, of the Provincial Government of Luanda and its population, address the Ministry of Defence, the General Staff of FAA and the Command of Military Region of Luanda, our congratulations on the date, hoping that their noble mission is always successful", reads the document signed by the governor Graciano Domingos.
